Marika Day has over 5 years experience in the health and fitness industry both educating and empowering change. With a Bachelors Degree in Health Science (Nutrition) and a Masters Degree in Dietetics Studies, Marika has worked with clients, companies and media outlets across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
I’m Marika Day, a dietitian and nutritionist but most of all an advocate for BS free nutrition and cutting through the confusion in the health and fitness industry. I read books and nutrition research like my life depends on it, my blood is part coffee part green smoothie and I believe carbs are one of the finer things in life.
My mission is to inspire you to live your healthiest, happiest life. I believe health involves all aspects of physical, mental and social health and my goal is to inspire and educate you to make practical changes to live your best life.
I educate and practise in an evidence based manner meaning everything you will read or hear from me is completely bullsh*t free! I break down the myths and misconceptions in the industry to provide you with practical, sensible knowledge allowing you to make changes that will actually improve your health and wellbeing, without the confusion.
My areas of expertise lie in nutrition for gastrointestinal disorders, gut health and women’s health. I work with clients who struggle with digestive issues, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and those who are trying to overcome emotional eating, lose weight, or manage symptoms of endometriosis and PCOS.
My approach is holistic, meaning I address nutrition, stress, sleep and physical activity. My clients range from busy professionals to stay at home mums as well as media outlets, and large and small companies and businesses. I provide science-based solutions to help you live a healthier, happier life.
